I have an amd fx 8350. Should I get the gtx 970 or the r9 290x.

last time i had a similar forum (no, im not reposting forums) where i asked if a certain buid was good, and they ALL said go with an i5 instead of an amd processor, and i even said you lose some performance. I dont think he meant bottlenecking, because it wouldnt be, but i think he said that cause it was a amd processor and a nvidia gpu. Does it matter?

You should get 0 bottlenecking, FX8350 is still powerful enough to run gtx 970/980.
