I have a
x64 based pc
amd athlon(tm) II X4 645 Processor, 3100 mhz, 4 cores 3.1~
6gb RAM
Graphics card ATI Radeon HD 4200

I want a newer and best graphics card the runs games great but is 100$ or less. I don't know anything about pcs but i want to know if it will fit or be compatible with my pc.

^ That is one way to go, but with the latest games becoming more demanding I doubt that system would last long.

Ideally you want a build based on at least a fourth generation Intel Core i3 and R9 280/GTX 960 for 1080p. That should make the latest games playable around high settings with a good consistent frame rate. Skylake is right around the corner if you want to wait for that. It won't come cheap though, at least $500 for a new system not including the OS.

I'm sorry to say but your system simply is not powerful enough to play those games. A $100 graphics card won't cut it, you need a new gaming computer with a powerful GPU/CPU. That essentially means buying a new PSU, ram, motherboard, and hard drive (if not SATA) as well to have full compatibility.

Not completely true. Even though that Athlon has four cores that does not mean it will game well. The single core performance of the Athlon II X4 645 is very poor and many modern games will be unplayable. It will also bottleneck any decent graphics card needed to play AAA games.

Take a look at R7 250x or if you can stretch your budget a bit, the R7 260x. You'll get playable frame rates at 1080p with the quality settings toned down. At 720p, it'll be smooth sailing even with some bells and whistles.

Had a x4760k for a while. God was that hell.... Upgraded from a r9 260x to a gtx 960 2g and now im looking at a 970/980
That cpu bottlenecked the hell out of my low end 760k

Its a good card, it will be compatible. If you could at all possibly stretch your budget to 110 maybe check this card out, it will give you better performance for a small increase in price.
