Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU (my first hardware upgrade.)
I have a budget of about £150 ($200) to spend and have a few questions...
I'm looking for the best 1080p gaming experience in modern titles like watch dogs 2 and Hitman. Should I go for a cheap (£150) new card or a higher performing used card from ebay?
Do all graphics cards go into Motherboards in the same way (regardless of if the mother board is on the left or right of the case. IE: Do you need to flip some cards over and does the IO always end up on the rear of the case for every card?)
I have found a few good looking GTX970's and 980's on ebay and was wondering if I installed one would it improve performance or would something else be the bottleneck?
Specs:
I5-4690 @ 3.5GHz
Asus Z97-k/csm ATX LGA1150
8gb DDR3 ram @ 1333MHz
GPU (current one I want to replace) GTX750TI 2GB @1.2GHz
650 watt PSU
