Hi, This is my first post and I am looking for a graphics card to play Far Cry 4 and Call of Duty advanced warfare at 60 fps on max setting at steady framerates. My budget is $250 but I'll go up to 275 if I have to.

Personally I love the R9 290. My friend has the MSI Gaming R9 290 and he has no complaints at all! MSI are extremely good with GPU's and so are Gigabyte. I guess it depends on your colour scheme you want. I think MSI are the better option but that is just me.

A good PSU for the R9 290 would be a 650w 80+ Bronze to play safe.

The R9 280x is a slightly better option than the GTX 960 in my opinion with the extra GB of VRAM, I have a GTX 760 and I can play most games at high settings, decent framerates so yes. For your price range, the 280x would be a decent choice.

You may need a 550w 80+ Bronze for a PSU to be 'sufficient' anything more than that is perfect!

*edit*
Some forums are saying a minimum of a 600w PSU, but that is for a AMD CPU build which does consume more power than Intel CPU's.
