Hey guys,

so my friend recently asked me what graphics card I would suggest him to upgrade his prebuilt system with. Since he is not really an AMD fan, I won't try to convince him of buying an RX 480. I think a GTX 1060 6GB would be good for him, price wise that's also around what he was thinking about.

His system is prebuilt and currently has a GTX 760 2GB and a Core i7 4770 in it. I don't expect it to have a lot of ventilation/airflow so would you think a blower style card would be better for him? And generally speaking, what GTX 1060 6GB would you suggest he should buy?

Greetings,

A blower would be best especially if venting is not that great. Otherwise all that heat will end up back in the case. As for model card...any 6Gb card should do, cheapest is usally my first choice but I do prefer brands in this order...Asus, Gigabyte, Zotac, EVGA and then MSI

Well, thanks. This basically goes with what I would do to. I think I'll tell him to get the ASUS GTX 1060 Turbo 6GB since it is the cheapest blower card where we live. Also it's from asus, so I don't really expect it to suck
