I wanna buy a GTX 1080 Ti to pair with an Intel Core i7 7700k.

I want to buy a GTX 1080 Ti that's only (and I repeat) ONLY $699.99 and on newegg.

Any help is appreciated!Thanks!

You can, but the card i posted is also Gigabyte at same price, but faster than the OC version.
The one you posted has a base clock of 1.52 vs 1.59.

No i'm saying if you only have $700 to burn you are really stuck with only FE cards, I wouldn't buy that PNY or Gigabyte card. Those fans and frames are cheaply made. I just picked up a 1080 Ti FE on ebay for $640 new. Best place to look if you want cheap.

You gotta know what to look for. Of course never buy from someone in China and you also have PayPal protection. Gigabyte for the 1070/1080 was decent but these 1080Ti cards are garbage. All have high coil wine, and cheaply made. I would spend the extra $20 and get a MSI, ASUS or EVGA card for $720. Otherwise a FE card is the only real option.

Realistically I'm going to use this 1080Ti FE for a year (or less), than sell it again on eBay. I basically gained $60 because the sell value will be 450-500 by than. I only lose $140 for a YEAR of use! That is a win in my book.

Even when you know what to look for, you can be deceived by scamsters. I have had some horrible experience on ebay. No amount pf protection can help you once you have made the purchase. Ebay is a big no no.

The coil whine you of Gigabyt cards you are talking about has been fixed with the recent cards. There is no coil whine issue reported for the 1080ti. Even some of the MSI cards have coil whine issues and cooling problems.
The FE cards are never recommended by this community as not only do they have cooling issues but also limited on performance due to marginal boost clocks.

I never said the FE was the best option but if you can't spend more than $700 than it is. I don't think Gigabyte has fixed the coin wine. Look at all the reviews and Youtube videos.

I like ebay from a buyers standpoint. Never been burnned in 10 years because when something comes broken, missing or flat out wrong I open a case right away and don't even deal with the person directly. They have 30 days to fix the issue or refund me. Works everytime. I think people are get burnned are trying to deal with the seller directly. Basically its a time game and the people who scam you are trying to pass the time so the 30 days are up. I just skip all that BS and only buy from prower-sellers and open a case if I have any issues.

Even the FE cards can have coil whine so they are not really the best option. The Gigabyte card i have linked has zero issues related to coil whine. One of my colleagues have already got it and its working perfectly. So i can vouch for that. If you have any source otherwise, then link it.
As for ebay, there are numerous forums and posts all over the web documenting scamming issues, in various scenarios. A lot of those issue could not be sorted even after going through ebay security directly. If it has worked for you, doesnt mean it will work with everyone. When going for such an expensive component better to steer clear of sources which are dicey instead of trying your luck.
