Hi.
I have a z77sabertooth, and an i7 3770k, but i see that most stores no longer sell this products.

And i see that the i7 4770k is actually 1155 socket motherboard.

what happend to the 1155 series?

Reason im asking is becuse i wanted to get a new motherboard.
but keep my cpu

Solution
The i7 4770k is LGA 1150, and the LGA 1155 are 2 generations away, that's why its harder to get them, there are still plenty of the in places like newegg and amazon, the problem is that their price is quite high, for me it was cheaper to jump to 1150 and sell my cpu than to get a new motherboard.

LGA 1155 is Ivy Bridge and LGA 1150 is Haswell. LGA 1150 is Newer and supports the 4th generation of i5's and i7's and LGA 1155 is the older of the two and is designed for the third generation intels. There is no upgrade path on the 1155. You can still buy motherboards with them, but the cost is pretty high. I'd save and invest in a new mobo and CPU if you want to switch. Is your mobo bad?

The newest CPUs for z77/LGA1155 are two years old so manufacturers and distributors are simply in the process of phasing out obsolete products - nobody wants to be stuck with a large inventory of motherboards for discontinued CPUs they might never be able to get rid of except by writing them off as a loss.

It takes quite a while for legacy motherboards, such as LGA1366, to go down in price because consumers want to upgrade or replace the motherboards, but keep the same CPUs to save money. In some cases, it would cost about the same to upgrade both components to the latest versions.
