What Happened to My Post?

A day or two ago I posted a question: "msconfig will not run". It has been
dropped from the Windows XP Help and Support news group. I was wondering if
anyone can tell me what happened to it and/or why it was dropped?

Thanks

Newsgroup posts are not retained indefinitely. However they are cached at
Google Groups (and possibly elsewhere). Here's your post:

I was afraid I had violated some ethics or rules. The Post was only one day
old and when I searched for it on the subject I used (msconfig will not run)
it was not included, but posts over a year old were included. I thought my
"solution" was unique and might be of interest to others. I had tried the
Registry path method and a couple of other suggests in the Posts. None
worked. But, when I executed msconfig from c:\windows\system32\dllcache and
it worked, I figured that was a different solution that might be worthy of
comment!? I guess not.

I've no idea why it might be lurking in dllcache. It does
not live there in my system.

Cheers,
