What Hard Disk do i need?

Hello.
I have an ST500DM002-1BD142 ATA DEVICE DISK DRIVE that is almost full.
What kind of Disk do i need: SSD or HDD and why do i need which one.

PC Specs:

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
MotherBoard: 760GA-P43(FX) (MS-7699)
Memory: 8 ram DDR3
Processor: AMD FC(TM)-6300 Six-Core Processor, 3500 MHZ, 3 Core, 6 logical processors

If you simply need need extra storage space, adding another HDD would be the cheapest option. Another option might be to purchase an SSD to use for your OS and frequently used programs and keep the HDD for storage. The system would feel a lot more responsive.

Ok, I want mostly to put Games from Steam and movies on it, so you say even if SSD is expensive, it is better for what i want??
