What hard disk to buy?

I need help buying a new hard disk, I currently have two disks on my list, Toshiba P300 1TB and Seagate ST1000DM010 1TB, can anyone tell me which hdd is better to buy and which hdd is faster of those two? Thanks in advance

Mostly irrelevant.
All drives die, eventually. For a single individual drive, fleetwide fail rate means little, if your drive is on the short end of that curve.

Best way to ward off a dead drive is a strong backup routine.
If it dies within the warranty period, replace.
If it dies outside the warranty period, replace.

Either way, a full backup preserves your data.
