I have 2 identical WD Caviar black 1TB drives. One is inside my workstation and holds all my photos, the other is in an external enclosure and is a mirror copy of the internal one.
I am running out of space, fast. That 1TB that seemed so large when I bought the disks is no longer sufficient.
I am looking for a budget friendly but reliable and expandable solution.
I need a cheap NAS. It should have at least two disk bays and option for RAID 1
Which would you recommend
Or would it be better to have 4 bays into which I could just add another drive when the need arises instead of taking the old drive out and replacing it with a bigger one?
