What hardware do I need to install for better fps?

Solution
well looking at the back of the case you will see a section with USB ports and a few video ports along with perhaps some audio jacks. this will be the motherboard IO. below that there should be a series of metal strips that are more towards the case side panel that opens. if there video cable is coming out of there then it is a dedicated GPU. you can also try to open it and see if there is a video card inside. also if you have windows 7 click start then right click computer and select properties. this will show the CPU and GPU as well if it exists. for windows 8 and 10 try to find device manager in search bar and that should end up listing all the components.
well we need your current system. a better GPU would most likely be the solution, but with out knowing what CPU you have it is impossible to say. can we have the full system specs or as many as you can find? if you cant find them all how old is this system?

The system is about 3 years old, I don't have it with me right now because we are taking it to the shop to find out if it could handle running mine craft at 60 fps but is only at about 25-30 fps right now.

So I'm 14, so I don't fully understand all of the computer talk but I can buy a better gpu . I don't know where the video cable is located. Do I just need to go to the store and ask them to install my gpu?

Before you go and spend unnecessary money, tell us what you have today :) What are your full system specs when you get it back.

If you ask them to install any video card, hmmmmmmm not good :) It will cost you and you don't know what you are getting.
