Replacing a 960 EVO 250GB with a 970 EVO 1TB, as a boot drive.

Here's what I've done:
Powered-down PC
Removed 960 ssd
Installed 970 ssd
Powered-on PC
Pressed F1 for Setup
Disabled "Fast Boot"
Set Boot Option #1 to UEFI: KDI-MSFT...
(Wouldn't allow disabling of options two and three, so...)
Set Boot Option #2 to M2: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus
Set Boot Option #3 to <same as #1>
Selected "Save Changes & Reset"
Put me back to "American Megatrends" screen where can only press F1 for Setu

Do you get the exact same option in #1 and #3 ?
Because according to here you should get two different options one for legacy and one for uefi boot.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/a...difference-between-booting-from-uefi-kdi.html
If your system supports UEFI, you'll want to choose the "UEFI: KDI-MSFTWindows 10 PMAP, Partition 1".

If your system doesn't support UEFI, for example if you have legacy hardware you'll want to choose "KDI-MSFTWINDOWS 10 PMAP".

Can you show any screenshots?
On what step are you stuck?

(upload your screenshot to imgur.com and post link)
Within BOOT > Secure Boot > OS Type, have specified "OS Type" as "Windows UEFI mode".
Then, I chose "Save Changes and Reset" and, after a few seconds, the first screen (ROG) appears, stating that can either press F2 or Del to enter the UEFI BIOS settings. If I do nothing, the American Megatrends screen appears, stating to press F1 to run setup, which takes me back into the UEFI BIOS.

In Key Management - clear secure boot keys.

Last screenshot is telling you to check fan connected to CPU_FAN header.
Either fan is not connected or not spinning.
If it is connected, then try setting higher low speed limit.

Cleared secure boot keys

Am still getting the fan issue after trying each available increment in the low speed limit drop-down menu. Then, tried disabling the lower speed limit and the error message is the same.

Still not able to install Windows from the USB. Do you need any other specific screenshots?
If so, please let me know.
Really want to get this done before Christmas, if at all possible.
*Also, all fans are connected and spinning, except the GPU fan (which is connected (ofc) but not spinning).
