What hdd should I choose?

Hello! I'm running out of space on my hdd's so I was thinking to buy a 2 tb hdd.. however I dont quite know what brand to choose ... I want it to last a long time and I heard that WD is the best choice... but they don't have a 7200rpm 2 tb drive... only 5400 ... soo my question is can I get 2x1tb WD 7200rpm drives and put them in raid (also the speed will be twice as fast) or should I buy a single 2tb hard drive (from another brand). Are there any drawbacks if I choose to combine 2 hdd's? I dont want to buy an ssd right now ... Im waiting for the prices to drop ( maybe in 2019-2020)

they don't have a 7200rpm 2 tb drive... only 5400

WD black all models are 7200rpm (500GB up to 6TB).

Yes but that one is a bit more expensive... I wanted a wd blue 7200rpm 2tb... just like the 1 tb version

Drawbacks from 2 drives in RAID0 are - if one drive fails, data on both drives is lost.

Ok, I will buy a single hdd... Which brand should I choose for the 2tb? I've seen some cheap toshiba ones... but I dont know about the quality of it.. I will use it to store games and files.. There are also some seagate hdd's..

newegg has a 2 TB 7200 rpm Barracuda on for $59.99 at the moment. Seems like a great deal to me but ... I use laptops so ... 3 1/2" drives aren't much good for me. I think the deal is only onfor another 8 hours or so.
