I'd like to get headphones to use in a car. I wonder what noise-cancelling technology is best. Is Active Noise Cancellation best for this or may it be In-Ear sealing headphones?

Any advise much welcome.

Assuming you are NOT the driver, since wearing headphones while driving is illegal in most locations.
Noise isolating in-ear don't require a battery of any kind so they can't stop working because of a dead battery.
For long duration use, noise cancelling over the ear is usually most comfortable.
If you are trying to get rid of other radio type "noise" then the isolation type will work better. Noise cancellation works best for for constant noise like road noise.
