what headset/headphones to buy for gaming?

I have SS siberia v2 but they are breaking Down, and ive looked into

Logitech G430
SS 7H
Qpad QH 85/90

Any suggestions/recommendations to what to get?

It depends on your budget, but I can give you a couple brands that you can look at. I personally use Trittons, their headsets are great and you won't be let down. Another well known brand for gaming is Turtle Beach, they have some great budget and expensive headsets that are designed for gaming.

However, if you are looking for purely sound headphones, sennheiser takes the cake, they may ride the budget up a bit, but I have yet to see a disappointed sennheiser customer.

Honestly, for gaming, pretty much anything will work, and especially high quality headphones. If they are rated well and have good sound quality, they will be fine for all around use.
