What headset should I buy?

Heys guys, I'm looking for a new headset at the moment and have come down to 3 headsets within my price range.
- Turtle Beach Z Seven headset @ $350 AUD, on sale for $99 AUD
- Razor Megalodon Elite 7.1 @ $270 AUD, On sale for $120 AUD
- Corsair Raptor HS40 7.1 USB @ $60 AUD
This sale on has 3 hours left, so if someone could give me some knowledge on which headset would be the best to buy for gaming and durability.

the turtle beach is the best of the bunch in that price range hands down. Personally the megaladon sounds like shit (i returned mine because i was so displeased with it) even the lower end turtle beaches are better than those other headsets

350?.. Damn then go sennheiser. Better then that turtle beach crap. I myself getting a new headset but going to try the corsair vengeance 2100. So sick of wires.

look at the sale price dude. At a sale price like that, you'd be foolish not to jump on the TB in comparison to the others listed. Being at $99 sets them far ahead of anything else in that price range in terms of value. The detachable mike is also a nice touch, as it is reviewed as being very sturdy and not likely to break. Also Turtle beach is making a name for itself in sound quality in their mid to upper range products.

yes wires are a pain, but if you want any decent sound quality in comparison, the wires are absolutely essential (not saying you can't get good wireless, but wireless has its' limits and its' price)

Out of those, the turtle beach, although I highly recommend getting headphones and a mic, so you get better quality of both for your money.

while I agree with Coolo, i know that I personally don't have space for a desktop mike, and thus a headset is more convenient.
