What heat sink to buy for cpu?

What heat sink should i buy for AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 3.6GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor. I have Corsair memory which has some tall fins. Was wondering if you could tell me what aftermarket heat sink you propose i use?

But, for that Cooler master 212,

u need to get low profile RAM, so it fits under.

Seeing what kind of mobo and case you have is also a good idea.

The hyper 212 is a tall cooler 160mm or so and needs a good width case. It has a good chance of blocking your first memory slot, but should be ok if you plug them in the 2nd and 4th slot if you have 4.

The water cooling kits above will not give you issues however but are of course more expensive for similar performance sans the H100

Yes, it would not fit, unless u can use the 2nd and 4th slot for the RAM's dual channel.

Will it make a difference in practical usage? Maybe not, but you'll feel warm and fuzzy knowing you are getting the newest of the line.
