What Heatsink fits TT Armor VA8003BWS?

Hey guys, I recently bought a TT Armor with the 250mm side fan. At first I am wondering if I should even get a new heatsink because my CPU readings is 32-35 Celsius Idle, and after gaming like Crysis the Hardware Monitor program from Biostar shows 41-44 Celsius. This is with stock heatsink from the AMD x4 Phenom II 940 that I am using, at ~3.4 Ghz.

For future OCing I probably need a better heatsink, however I am aware of the side fan of my case.

I do not want to remove the 250mm fan, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a good heatsink that fits with the side fan on.

Also, how do I read the dimensions? Was it (width x height x depth)? And which one is the measurement from the CPU to the side panel?

Your temperature readings with the AMD heatsink are quite respectable for a stock factory unit.

The height of the heatsink is the measurement you want to check. Oddly, once installed in a tower case the height becomes the horizontal measurement. You want to compare the height against the width of the case to try and determine if there is sufficient space. Generally speaking if the case is 8 inches wide or greater you should not have any problems installing a typical tower style heatsink. Your pc case is a full size tower that is 8.7 inches wide. The fan on the side panel will not be a problem.

Does any1 know a heatsink, for sure that would fit? And one that is a tower.

The TT Armor is just a tad bit wider than the Antec Twelve Hundred which is very popular with gamers who install large tower style heatsinks. Therefore just about any tower heatsink will fit your case. The case is wide enough. No problem.

I'd recommend the ThermalRight Ultra 120. It's one of the original tower style heatsinks and it has always remained in the top 10 for both Intel and AMD cpu's. In fact it is still rated number one for AMD cpu's. I still have my original 120 in my own system. The performance is outstanding. You cannot go wrong with this one. Actually Idk, if I should get a heatsink now. I set my Phenom II 940 down back to ~3.0 Ghz, and I am running idle 28 Celsius.

I noticed my friend did put Evercool thermalpaste instead of the stock one, however overall its either that paste, or AMD did a hell of a good job with the CPU Heatsink. The heatsink btw had a copper base and copper tubing, so idk if thats a special version or whatnot.
