What I Need to Know to Upgrade

I am upgrading/completely overhauling my custom PC build. The only components I am keeping from my old build are the graphics card, HHD, and optical drive.

This is my old build.
This is my upgraded build.

I am an amateur at PC building and I would like to know specifically what I need to do in order to have all of my files and OS (Windows 10- upgraded from Windows 8) transferred over to my new build. I'm going to, of course, back-up my most important files. Would I be fine just transferring the components over or is there something I need to do beforehand?

Read and do this before you change any parts:

For that level of change, you really need to do a full reinstall of Win 10 in the new hardware.
Don't assume your old drive with the existing OS will simply "just boot up" in the new hardware.

Create a Win 10 instal USB or DVD here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Clean install here: How to do a CLEAN installation of Windows 10
