Hello people my budget is around £500 to £600

Im looking to buy a i7 CPU but a half decent one for gaming and streaming.
I'm also in need of a new motherboard, something with red on preferably as my build
is a red theme.

If anyone can recommend me some parts thanks,
I dont know if this matters but i need these parts to run of my xfx 550 psu

I prefer air coolers like the Noctua NH-U14S. The i7-4790K should default to about 4.4GHz and I really don't see the point to overclock higher. For one thing, it rarely would benefit you as the bottlenecks are usually elsewhere and for another the Intel Power Management keeps things relatively cool if you don't force some of the features off.

So my advice is just use "XMP" in the BIOS.

For my budget i wanted a CPU and a MoBo and a water cooler if possible, thanks for the reply.

A Core i7 4790k is a great cpu for that budget.
