Hello,
Let's imagine that I have my primary (SSD) drive plugged in (from sata to usb) external case to a laptop and I am running OS and game on it.

I would like to ask what will happens to laptop, drive, data from previous days if I unplug the cable (by mistake).

Would be some diference between hdd, ssd and hot-swappable drive?
Thank you!

Solution
pretty much. its like a big thumb drive but way faster.
its still good habit to have the OS eject the drive before unplugging.
