Welcome to Tom's Forum! :)

Currently, either a P67 or Z68 Intel Chipset MOBO is the minimum requirement. From there it gets more complicated, it depends on your 'target' aka desired OC 'GHz'. For 4.0GHz~4.5GHz I recommend a minimum of an 8 Phase MOBO, and >4.5GHz a 12 Phase minimum.

In general, Intel produces poor LGA 1155 overclocking MOBOs, and some of their P67 have lacked the basic settings e.g. CPU Ratio/Multiplier to even allow any overclocking.

Buying depends on your location, in North America (USA and Canada) most folks use http://www.newegg.com/ - its a highly rated and very consumer friendly site.

Here's some of my frequent recommendations in a side-by-side -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007627%20600093976&IsNodeId=1&page=2&bop=And&CompareItemList=280%7C13-131-790%5E13-131-790-TS%2C13-188-098%5E13-188-098-TS%2C13-131-714%5E13-131-714-TS%2C13-131-792%5E13-131-792-TS%2C13-131-771%5E13-131-771-TS
