what internet power do i need?

so i have 14mbps download and about 0.30 upload on plusnet. I play league of legends and i cannot connect to the game if someone else is using the wifi, even though my desktop is plugged into the router. what usages do you recommend so we can both use the internet at the same time with no issues or high ping?

Your upload is really low. I'm in the Uk and have been with a few providers in recent years and always get between 0.8-1.0mbps upload and have no issues while gaming and other users uning the internet

Thanks im looking at sticking with plusnet, and going fiber optic with 38 download and 2 upload, hopefully this will sort it.
