what is 6950x temps on high frequencies 4.2 - 4.4Ghz?

I want to buy 6950x , and don't know whether or not I need to change watercooling
I have H100i wtercooling 240fan from corsair
how do you think on 4.4ghz do I need to change cooler ?

Yes, that's the one. It comes in 240mm and 360mm variants, both are great. And it is an AIO. AIO stands for "All-in-one", it's just not a CLC (Closed Loop Cooler) like Corsair's stuff which are generally considered to be bad by water cooling standards because they use sub-standard components like aluminium radiators and very weak and crappy pumps to save on cost. The Predator from EK is built with EK's own high quality water cooling components and is second only to full custom loops in performance.

And while it is easier to leak during installation because it's designed to be able to be expanded (thus they can't attach the tubes and such as well as with CLCs which are designed to never be taken apart outside a lab), it is no more...

I have 5820k and I'm not fine with 4.4ghz and that cooler
under full load it goes over 82c sometimes
I think everything that is more than 80 is not recomended

but I heard that broadwell chips not heating as much as haswell chips
is that true ?

Broadwell-E's 14nm architecture gives the chips much better power efficiency. If those are your temps with a 5820k, you should stay under 80C with a 6950X. Also, since you're shelling out 1700$ for a CPU, you could replace Corsair's fans with a couple Noctua IndustrialPPC NF-F12s to improve cooling.

for now my voltage is 1.26 , 4.2ghz
when I was working with 4.4ghz speed it was almost 1.3v
1.28 I guess ... I tried to lower woltage but lowering voltage by 0.01 step doesn't affects temperatures much
thus , if you want lower volts and decrease temps you will never remain stable same frequencies

I'm not going to OC to much I will see how it will behave on 4.4 Ghz , if something , I will stay with 4.2
I think 4.2 is a great temp/freq ratio for that beast

I would rather replace radiator , but its impossible ((
you think fans will affect temps ?
I'm also thinking to delide that CPU and change thermal paste inside CPU itself, but little afraid of that operation

Intel Extreme CPUs (LGA 2011 and 2011-3) don't have thermal paste inside, the die and the IHS are SOLDERED together. You can still delid them though with specific tools, and if you replace the solder with liquid metal TIM you can get a much bigger difference than with consumer-grade CPU paste swap (this is because Intel puts way too much solder between the die and the IHS, whereas the paste in consumer grade CPUs ends up as a thin layer). However it'd be much safer and potentially cheaper (1700$ dead CPU is more expensive 😛) to invest in better cooling. If you can buy an EK Predator AIO (240mm or ideally 360mm) you should be able to even go past 4.4GHz.

I dont know how to adjust pump speed )) first time hear that pump has a speed

its a h100i kit its not a custom rig

I can't because its too expensive for me , I'm squeezing my pocket to buy that cpu
because I'm a maya user want best performance possible , aside from xeons ,
I don't like xeon because in single core operations they are like celerons ))

My 6800k is running completely fine on 4.4Ghz with 1.3volts and a corsair h115i; Idle temps 25-35 degrees and load temps between 60-70 degrees. I don't see why people say the broadwell-e chips generate alot of heat compared to Haswell-E, because for me infact they produce less heat, coming from an 5820k clocked at 4.5GHz, that had load temps between 70-80 degrees on 1.25volts on the cores.

maybe can afford better cooler but not a custom rig for sure
good custom rig starts from 500 $

And while it is easier to leak during installation because it's designed to be able to be expanded (thus they can't attach the tubes and such as well as with CLCs which are designed to never be taken apart outside a lab), it is no more dangerous than your current cooler (in fact I'd consider it safer due to the high quality components used). As long as you don't handle it like a gorilla it won't leak.

You'd have to make sure it fits in your case, but with the Predator you can practically get the performance of a basic custom loop.
