What is a Big Atx M/b?

I was suggested getting a Big Atx Motherboard from Asus, which name i do not know specifically but something extreme.

i'm getting Phen2-x4 960T Josma for high-qual gaming with this motherboard.

anyone know the specific name for this motherboard?

What you named big ATX are eATX and XL-ATX , these are new boards and the most comon socket is 2011 wich is for intel CPU's

are they good for gaming/bang for buck?

cus i dont want to be spending extra money on stuff i don't need for gaming.

Then buy a cheaper motherboard. Don't waiste your money.
Yes the AM3 oprocessors fit in all AM3+ motherboards. Look at one of these mobos and choose one.
