A game that was initially designed for consoles but later on ported to PCs but with games like COD:BO it can have bad coding and glitches.

The code is infact, made from one format to another, but the platform for the hardware, when it is coded is alot more cleaner, where with a port it is run through a program, that does not optomize the code to run at its optimum.
Gta 4 was a good example as a port, cross format.

Its gaming developers throwing left overs to the PC Gamers who in turn are do hooked on bragging about FPS on the bad ports they go out and turn it into a hit...... With benchmarking waiting on more left overs coming from the consoles

Its intimidation tactics to make you go console, I got rid of all those ported games sick of them disrespecting my PC with their disgraceful detail

A "console port" is supposed to refer to any game that is first developed on a console, then ported to the PC after the fact. These games will typically have major bugs, due to not having as much time to optimize the more difficult platform. [Dead Space is a perfect example of a Console Port]

These days, it refers to any game that happens to be on both PC and consoles, regardless of quality.
