What is a good 1680x1050 monitor?

I'm willing to spend <200 dollars on it. I will mostly use it for gaming.

Hmm ... looks good, however, I won't be able to buy a monitor until two weeks from now, so it probably wont be on sale still. Also, here's some more things I would like it to have: true 8 bit subpixel depth and a good STATIC contrast ratio, I don't care about the dynamic CR.

I don't know of a monitor that has all of what you want - the Samsung F2380 has 3011:1 average static contrast ratio (as measured by TFT Central), but it's 1920x1080 and 6 bits per color channel. The HP LP2275w has the resolution you want, and 8 bits per color channel, but the static contrast ratio is only 1223:1 (based on measurements by TFT Central)
