another question also when i add in on the website pc part picker the Asus Hero it says something about compatibility issues might needing an update in the bios can u still install everything including the i7 then updating them?

With VII Hero you can use Flashback, if BIOS update needed. No CPU needed in this case.

OMG thanks! i think i will go with Hero unless the Asus Z97-a is better?

Every now and again the manufacturer will release new shipments with a newer bios. It may be standard now. I just bought the MSI z97 GD-65 gaming and it came ready for the Devil's canyon cpus. Here is the board I bought: http://www.ncix.com/detail/msi-z97-gd65-gaming-atx-lga1150-3b-97042-1360.htm

I love it, lol. It got 8 sata 3 ports, 12 phase cpu power, sound blaster onboard audio(which is excellent btw), and overclocks like a beast. Maybe you might want to consider that one as well since it is around your budget....

Review: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2014/06/18/msi_z97_gaming_7_lga_1150_motherboard_review/7#.VLAqYck72KU BTW, the Gaming 7 and the GD-65 are the same board. They just renamed the gaming series.

This is the first time I have heard of that feature. Very cool! :)

i will admit i really like asus mate, but honestly which one would be better? which ones has the best features? im all about the features :p

Out of the 3 the Z97-a is by far the best bang for buck and should do everything you need, and I would call the Hero and the Gaming 7 a tie personally that come with a few more bells and whistles. They are both very feature rich boards. ;)

Features of the Gaming 7: http://ca.msi.com/product/mb/Z97-GAMING-7.html#hero-overview
