What is a good choice to run solidworks?

Solution
Solid Works is a fairly light program for the basic CAD features but as soon as you start rendering and simulation it taxes the system a lot.

I would recommend :

- An intel core i5 cpu
- A GT630 or higher equivalent gpu. Integrated fourth gen i5 graphics will do fine
- 6GB RAM . If you are doing heavy simulation and fluid modelling then 8GB ram
- SSD ( optional) but will load the software much quicker.

I understand you want a budget option. To save costs, you can ignore the SSD and the GPU. But get a good cpu.
