I only have 1200$ budget for a gaming laptop. Is AMD/ intel i5 good enough to play LoL and I want to have a stable fps at 100-144(doesn't drop to like 30 fps in a team fight or something) and is fast enough for me to do school work??

If you are not going to be carrying around the laptop a lot, you should go for a pc.

Anyway, assuming you do want to carry it around to school or things like that, you could take a look at the Dell Inspiron 7567. It has an intel i5-7300HQ quad core without hyper threading with its lower priced $800 model, with a 1050ti which will play LoL very nicely at max settings. Won't drop below 100 I reckon.

It also has a 1080p IPS display, so great colors and viewing angles.

It has offers good value for those specs and is definitely good enough for daily use as well. I suggest you look up reviews and specs of this model.

You're so wrong. It has a bad TN panel.

Go with a GTX 1060 model ASUS laptop. They cost around your budget, and they're pretty good.
