I want the mouse to be great quality. It needs to have a braided cable. It doesn;t matter to me if it is RGB, because you can't even see the colors after you put your hand over the mouse (LOL). It has to be less than $70. What are some great options?

I am currently using Logitech g502 proteus spectrum
Its an all rounder type of mouse with adjustable weights.
Suitable for any game.
The build quality is just super great.
I absolutely love it.

I prefer a palm grip style mouse. I'd play any type of game. Does it really matter? I'm kinda new to pc gaming.

I'd recommend the Corsair M65 FPS Pro RGB. It has a braided cable. You can adjust it's weight, change its RGB (I know you don't care but I'm saying this anyways, lol) lighting to whatever you want, change its DPI, it has an sniper button for FPS. It feels really great too. The only negative is that there's no pinky rest. You can of course get these without the RGB but the one without it is laser instead of optical and has less DPI.

RGB: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=128631 $68.99 USD
Non-RGB: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=115958 $60.99 USD

With CUE, you can program every button on that mouse, including but not limited to, button re-mapping (can be keyboard or mouse for the mouse), macros (set up certain button presses for that one click), change different actions, have custom DPI, and customize lighting to have any colour or effects you want. If you have a Corsair RGB keyboard or headset, or all 3 with RGB, you can link the colours to all of them at once, it will still work if you have only two.
