what is a good graphics card to use for Solidworks, a 3D graphic design studio?

I am using Solidworks 2014 on an Asus k55A with 4GB, Solidwoks is running slow and the graphics are not up to expected performance. I am looking to buid a PC an have everything planed out but don't know what graphics card to get. I do not mind spending a bit of money as long as it is not rediculas and within reason.

a gtx titan would do, it's quite expensive but it's a workstation card, as well a a gaming card

A mid range like GTX 750Ti would be enough. Though If you want to use models in some video fx editing then may be for fast rendering you will be needing a higher card like GTX 770 or 780. Or you can also use a quadro series card like K2000D or the titan

3GB Sapphire Radeon R9 280X TOXIC works really well for me, and a good price aswell.
