What is a good graphics card?

That is my build so far. It will be used for gaming and video editing with Adobe After Effects. I need a good graphics card for what I will be doing. I know that there are graphics cards out there that can easily support gaming and video editing but some of them are so expensive and I do not know which to get. I would like to keep my budget under 900$ since I am paying for all of this but I am willing to go a little over. If you can help me out please do because it is my first build. Thanks

Yes its a good card for a cheap price but if you want to go to the limit of your budget, the r9 270x is the best choice. Its fast and you can run most games with good fps on high settings. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2013/11/13/amd-radeon-r9-270-review/4

the 750 ti gets around 40-50 on med. the 270x gets around 60 on ultra.
