What is a good motherboard to use with this CPU for gaming?

I'd like to know what a good motherboard would be to use in conjuncture with this CPU. I'd like to be able to play games like BF3 or Red Orchestra 2 with them.

Also, it'd be preferable if you could keep the mobo's price to around $150 or less.

I have been using the MSI 790FX-GD70 for some time now. Though mine is in active service for my media center, not gaming. I would suggest any of the 890FX or 990FX platforms from a reputable company. Be it MSI, Asus, or Gigabyte.

Just for confirmation's sake, either one of these along with the CPU I mentioned WILL let me play some higher-end games, like BF3 Red Orchestra 2, Wargame, etc., right? I just want to be extra sure, so I don't end up wasting my time and/or money.

Yes you can play anything you want. And with a little luck you can unlock that CPU into 5 or 6 core.
