[SOLVED] What is a good mouse in general ?????? Under $100

Solution
When it comes to wireless Bluetooth is convenient but can have latency compared to RF wireless. Bluetooth also has a very long battery life.

Here are 2. The Steel Series is the Cadillac and is a bit more pricey. The logitech is both wireless and bluetooth. It has 6 side buttons and cpi switching. At $80 it's a good deal. I wouldn't bet on reliability vs the steel series though Logitech is my #2. Logitech has 9 wireless gaming mice so you would have to compare them all and choose. Some more expensive and some less expensive.

Mouse: SteelSeries RIVAL 650 WIRELESS Wireless Optical Mouse ($119.99 @ Adorama)
Mouse: Logitech G604 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Optical Mouse ($71.99 @ Best Buy)
Total:...
I bought an MSI mouse, mostly on price, and like the click feel on it, MSI M200, but it seems to not be currently made, don't know if the other ones feel the same from the company.

Logitech gaming mice range also has some nice feeling buttons.

There are a lot of good mice in your price range, really not much is out of your reach so it would be up to you to try them out and see what you like. Things like mice/keyboards/speakers/headphones almost never end at just buying one and that's it, people try 3-4-5-20 to find something they like more than the last thing.

Depends if you want wireless, wired, or bluetooth for a laptop.

After using every brand on the market I've come to like Steel Series for quality and reliability.
I would personally want wireless if the latency and speed is equal to a wired mouse , So with that you have any recommendations ?

I bought a Logitech MX Master 3 recently and absolutely love it. Cost €109. It's actually quite heavy, but feels like it's on air when you move it. The scroll wheel is amazing as it can be set to free flow, so is incredibly smooth. Has a great thumbwheel and two buttons by the thumb, which you can map to different commands for different applications. There's also another button below the thumb which can be used to launch the active screens so no longer have to prest alt + tab. Can't recommend it enough!!

Issue with wireless is battery and battery saving measures, nothing wrong with a wired mouse

If you use a laptop do you want a mouse wire dangling around? Mouse wires dangling through and over a desk to a PC on the floor and you are always tugging on the cable. As for battery life you can get around 450 hours with modern RF wireless and much more with bluetooth. Some mice have built in Lithium batteries that charge so you're always topped up. The technology of wireless is way better than it was 20 years ago when a double A battery lasted 15 hours and was always dying mid game.

Todays mice can work with bluetooth for a laptop, android TV box, etc... then hit a button to switch to RF mode for low latency gaming on the PC. They are wonderful. If it's PC only then the steel series is hard to beat. Otherwise Logitech has a good lineup. I'm not too fond of the reliability of other brands like Razer, Cooler Master, Microsoft, etc...

Well I have a MacBook so I don’t need a mouse with my laptop and you can always use an extender too.

Those are office mice not gaming mice. You can get the mice that charge like that but you have to buy the expensive mousemat too and a lot only charge in one place.

I'm personally a big fan of the Logitech G602 Wireless.
Been using one for years now.

And it's pretty dang cheap now that it's not the newest thing on the market.

Price is here and there. Sometimes it's as low as $30.
It's currently going for $50 right now.

Currently on discount at BestBuy for $35 after shipping costs.

they are all simple.
I don't know what you mean by buttons?

You install it on top of the CPU, then plug in the necessary cables, then you manage the pump speed and fan curves using software.

Wow. I am super sorry about that. I thought I was replying to a different thread 😂

You don't have to use the extra buttons on the side if you don't want to. They don't get in the way, but they are there if you ever feel you might need them.

Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

(For reference I thought I was replying to a thread question about some AiO coolers 😂😂🤣🤣)

2 side buttons are great for forward and back when browsing the internet. More than 2 side thumb buttons is generally used exclusive to MMO mice.
I use them for certain video games that make you press keyboard buttons to access inventory menus, or switch weapons and stuff.
And I also use them for productivity as shortcut buttons to open certain programs on my PC, or to shortcut certain actions inside some programs all with my thumb.
