Hi, I recently got myself a 6700K and I wanted to see the load temps on it. I need to stress test my CPU, but I dont want to use Prime95 since ive heard that it tortures your PC to the point where it gets dangerous. I want a stress test that simulates normal everyday usage... like running a CPU demanding game or something of that degree. So what is a good software for this?

Are you confusing AIDA64 benchmarks with stress tests? I have AIDA64 and all I see in the menu are benchmarks.

EDIT: NVM, I found a stability tester utility in AIDA64

click tools -> system stability test

Crash during a game (possibly at a very bad time), or crash in a controlled environment where it would only affect you? Passing stress tests ensure your OC is stable.

Stress test is exactly that, a stress, generally bad for the PC. Crash during a game, just reload last save. Stress test is worst case, different games may run at different speeds successfully, faster than cpu can run during stress test
