What is a good thin laptop for under $1000

I am a senior in h.s taking computer science and i would like to use this laptop for that and maybe some light gaming. any suggestions?

I recommend LG Gram 14.

It's a really thin and light laptop and has amazing battery life but it's not built for gaming.

For gaming you can consider HP Envy x360 with AMD Ryzen-5 APU. It's a 2-in-1 and has the capability to run e-sports games.

You can either have thin and light or gaming. Not both.

Would recommend a MacBook Air for a thin laptop.
