What is a Long graphics card?

What does that mean in terms of the dimensions of the cards? how much space would i have to put one in?

a good example would be a gigabyte windforce card they have 3 fans and tend to be a bit long. so best way to look at that would be check the H/W/L of a product in the product description and measure your case from one of the slots in the back all the way to the drive cage to see if you have clearance.

also note that some motherboards have sata pin connectors that are mounted facing up this could possibly interfere with specific motherboards. the ones that lay flat shouldnt be a problem.

Well "long graphic" card are normally gpus which have a pci slot, they are the more modern type of graphic cards which will normally have 1 or two fans. In the case manuals or specifications it should say the dimension it can hold. lol we are american's 320 mm is like ? might as well be 300ft .. lol so but its actually 12.5984 inch

So you are using decimal subdivisions with a system that basically says "Fuck metrical system and decimal operations. Lets divide one by 11"

just kidding about the metrical/imperial comparison. As an engineer student, I understand that it fullfils a certain role in the industry. But, this doesn't mean that I am going to stop trolling 😛

Not just that, there's alot of different measurements from one country to the next. US typically use a smaller inch measurement to that of Imperial UK measurements as well as weight and horse power. I can't say that the UK has fared much better than the US in adopting the metric system. Our beer still comes in pints (565ml) and market groceries by the whatever. but our packaging tells us what it weighs in metric and usually how much of the product you are buying you shouldn't have with recommended daily allowances.
