What is a precison mouse and is it the same as gaming mouse? and whats the advantage of using one over a simple optical mouse? What special things can be done with the precision mouse that cant be done with the normal cheap mouse?

That's a gaming model, as denoted by the G. Any G series Logitech product is a gaming product.

It's a great mouse too - more responsive than most mice (especially most wireless mice), and has some extra features specifically aimed at gaming, such as an on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment.
