HELLO,
Need some tips to safe overclock my GPU.

My old old old rig:
i5 - 4690K
ASUS Z97-AR
2x4GB RAM
XFX 550W

Also got a air cooler from Noctua which I don't remember the model.

How old is the PSU in your build? The AMP! editions are notorious for having bad thermals which is why I'd exercise caution on the overclock or at the very least, disassemble the card and perhaps change out the thermal pads and paste for some higher quality stuff. Then also inspect the memory cooling on the card, apart from the power regulator cooling.

Afaik, the Amp editions used a reference pcb that already had a halfway decent OC applied, just using a different heatsink/shroud. There really wasn't much room for improvement as they were already running close to maxed out with what the board could handle. As said, wasn't hard to get bad thermals as a result unless the gpu saw very good intake airflow.

Strongly caution any further OC, especially if the card is aged as the chances of breakdown multiply drastically with components that already have seen next to abuse levels of heat and voltages.
