What is Aeria Ignite?

I just found this program installed on my pc. I recently updated to Windows 10 and do not remember installing this.

What is it really for? I only play Rift and GW2. Do they require this software?

It's for AeriaGames, here's their website http://www.aeriagames.com/
If you don't play any of their games you can uninstall it.
One of their games probably came bundled with win10.

Upgrading to Win 10 didn't install this on my system...so it would seem the only way that it got there was as part of some bundle from the manufacturer, or by a user action you've forgotten you did.

Actually, I suppose, it could've happened if you installed something and this 'tagged along' as part of the installation. You might look in Control Panel and check the install date...perhaps that will give you a hint about where you got it.
