No as it opens up possibilities of crossfire or sli in the future so you won't need to change the psu if you do

Hello, we actually make a 550W Bronze that goes on sale for very cheap ($55 -$25 Rebate) once in awhile. However, it may not be enough for you. Definately re-visit the requirements.

As a rule , i typically dont buy less than 850W Gold anymore... too many horror stories over the last 5 years. $150 component that is especially reliable for all my expensive hardware.
