What is Better an AM3+ or FM2+ Build?

I mean if i were to choose or to build from scratch then it would like these:

Processor: FX-6300 3.5GHZ
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3
RAM: 8gb Kingston HYPERX 12800/1600
GPU: Sapphire HD 7770 1gb GDDR5

or

Processor: A10 6800k 4.1 GHZ
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-A88XM-HD3 M-ATX FM2+
RAM: 8gb Kingston HYPERX 12800/1600
(and for future upgrades like AMD Kaveri)

btw im not a fan of Overclocking. I just want to play the Next Gen. games like BF4,GTA 5,Watch Dogs games that is similar, most likely to Medium and High Settings and im very tight on budget

The CPU is always better than APU if you want PC to play games on High settings.
you should go for FX rather than A10.
this costs more but performs better than APUs.

Agreed fx for sure. Maybe throw in a 7870 from the start as well. The 7770 will hold you back from the start. I got one for my friend for 125 after the rebate and its much more powerfull than the 7770

For gaming the fx-6300 system would be superirior, but with a hd7770 you'll probably be looking more at low to med settings on those games unless you run an really low resolution.

AMD tend to stick with a socket for a while, but it is possible they will choose a new socket for their next generation.
This isn't important though because when you decide to upgrade this CPU in the future, you will just upgrade motherboard, CPU and RAM together.
What is your concern with this?

Nothing but its just im really tight on budget hehe some says for a starter i should go to FX6300 with 7750 Gddr5 while some says go with A10 6800k(and wait for the release of Kaveri APU)

The FX processor is fine, you won't need to upgrade this for a few years.
You can make the build cheaper by choosing a cheaper motherboard.
What you will find limiting is the graphics card.
If at some point you want higher detail settings and frame rates, this is what you will need to upgrade.

Never cheap out on your mobo. Later on youll want to overclock to keep up and youll end up frying it or being very limited.


I believe in 2014/15 when amd releases its new fx processors it will be on a new socket design with ddr4.

What is the point in spending extra money on a motherboard that allows you to overclock?
The CPU performance at stock rates won't limit frame rates below what the graphics card can do at any reasonable level of detail.
If you did have the extra money to spend, you could spend the same money buying a better CPU in the first place.
By the time you buy one of these expensive boards with an FX-6300, you could get a Core i5 with a cheap motherboard instead.
Even better, you could use the money for a better graphics card that will actually increase performance.

An OEM OS is tied to the motherboard ... and, over-clocking can make quite a difference in some titles.

Lower-priced motherboards are also light on expanded connectivity, durability, and don't receive the BIOS support of higher-priced models.

For a given CPU, over clocking can improve performance.
Rather than paying the additional cost of an expensive motherboard and cooling though, you can buy a better CPU running at stock rates.
You can buy a good quality motherboard without the over clocking features.

Personally I found that new A10's are out and in a FM2+ socket, read the reviews.
I think I am going for the Athlon I I x4, I want a matx with one pcix16
Going middle of the road, and going with the good reviews.
Not a over-clocker fan , so I want the computer to do the video part of the system , but not on the motherboard.
With that said I would go for the FM2+ socket, but I want the CUDA cores on my Video card, So I go with The Athlon rather than the A10. I have not found out If the A10 would work with the CUDA cores, also it seams the video cards are limited using the chip set. Also the system boards for the FM2 are slowing down at this point and will go up in price.
All components of my build will be $80 for each pics.

frame rate that combo, the last one is ebay seller, not sure about that one.

My point is , it is hard to find a smaller motherboard that does not have on-board video.
and that also will be a good fast setup.
