hello i have 2 computers and i want to sell one of them i have HP 800 G2 SFF and DELL OPTIPLEX 5050 i wanted to know which one is better personally i like to plug many usb3 hard drives externally and my main usage is to move lot of files, i have nvme adapter on the hp and the dell has native nvme slot. i wanted to know which pc should i keep and which one to sell?
i also have gtx 1650 low profile i used it on the hp before but since i decided to move lot of files from disks i decided to remove the gpu to not waste psu resorces. anyway i would like to know which one is better and if they support other then 6th gen cpus.

my dell has i7 6700 both are having 24gb ddr4 ram i think 2400 but its running at 2133 samsung 970evo 500gb the hp is almost the same as my dell it has i5 6th gen i forgot which one but i can swap the cpu if the hp is better. personally the dell is more lightweight but the hp is slimmer and has more usb3 ports and support 2 3.5 hdds which i like but i plug many usb 3 devices on both pcs and their psu is quite weak i dont know which pc is better for my task of moving large folders and opening videos at the background i dont care what give me more $$ i just want to keep the better one for myself if you know what i mean. i have seen theres more way to upgrade the dell, i have actually an adapter for the dell psu but also my dell has one broken usb3 port im confused i dont know which one to keep and i wanted to know if they support 7th gen cpu aswell

Don't "upgrade", don't swap the CPUs...

Keep whichever you like better.

Sell the other.
personally i like the way the dell looks more but the hp has more usb3 ports which i need and like. but i think the optiplex has stronger psu maybe? also i think the optiplex support gen 7? i might be wrong

As said, for your stated use, not a lot of difference between the two.

Looks? Thats all up to you.
I personally don't spend a lot of time or effort into the looks, especially of an old workhorse system.

Ok so now i have another point i want to point out. audio is very important for me most of the files i move are music files. i like to feel bass, if i remember the audio on the hp was better then the dell but im not sure, i think the hp had more bass then the dell. if someone can confirm the audio is better on the hp i will get rid of the dell. i lean towrds the hp anyway tho as i said the dell looks my better in my opinion, and also the dell is very light the hp is heavy..

They almost certainly use the same audio chips and codec.
But sound is only something you can determine.
