what quadcore is better for gaming quadcore q8300, q9400 or q6660????

I'd suggest checking the charts here or at anandtech and choosing a game, or similar game to determine, though games are typically more graphics intensive.

Among your listed cards, the Q9400 is the better one..

If you overclock the Q6660 it would be about equal to the other two. Otherwise, at stock the Q9400 is the best.

Is this for a new build? I would recommend choosing from a newer socket - 1156 or 1366 instead, if so.
