What is causing my computer to crash?

Recently my computer has been crashing whenever I play games. When it crashes there are grey/black vertical lines on the monitor and the tower stays on.

Specs:
RAM: G Skill ripjaws 4gbx2
GPU: Sapphire Radeon 7950 3gb
CPU: Intel 4670
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 520w
OS: Windows 10
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87-D3CP
HDD: WD 1tb

I built this computer three years ago if that helps. Any help would be appriciated.

Is 520w enough power for your particular 7950. Some of the 3 fan cards require more power then that.

My 7950 has only one fan

If it is only when you play games and it has a weird display then the most possible sources are PSU or GPU.

Do you have a buddy or spare parts that you can test.
Either way the PSU or GPU has to be under a gaming load to test it fully.
