So this is something I'm noticing in Apex lately and as I've done a lot of changes to my system recently I think it's worth checking everything I'm seeing is correct with some people who know more than I do. Overall I suspect the issue is with my CPU as I can see in Task Manager it's almost constantly at 100% during gameplay. I'm mostly using MSI Afterburner to keep track of things too.

The new addition to my setup is the Dell Monitor. I also recently replaced my 1060 with the 2080, my 8GB RAM with 2x8GB and the Power Supply to 650W.
Temperatures seem more or less fine from what I can see although it seems during gameplay my GPU hit a max temp of 75 Celsius and had a usage close to 96%. My Memory Usage was at close to 8000 out of 8192 according to MSI. RAM was fine at about 8GB out of 16. Power Limit and Voltage limit both seemed to have spiked between 0 and 1 throughout gaming. CPU temp was about 60 Celsius with usage at a max of 100%.
The thing that I wonder about is why my new 144hz monitor seems to be nowhere close to 140fps most of the time. I don't really notice the FPS drops after making sure I was on 144Hz as I was on 60fps when I noticed it most but the fps is not close to where I expected and according to RivaTuner (which I have open during gameplay), my MS is close to 5 most of the time instead of the 1 I expected. I do plan to get a new motherboard and cpu but I'd like to confirm if it's the cause right now and/or a serious issue. Do I need any better cooling in my system, are any of these things issues and is there any other details I can provide to get a definite answer? I really just want smooth and high fps gameplay.
