Hi, What is the main difference between a 200 and 400 dollar mobo I want to get the Gigabyte aorus x570 or something and I plan on not overclocking and I will use a noctua D12S and 3700X for CPU. Will I get any more value out of this because I am only using a 65W CPU. Here is my parts list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/P7pM8M

I do not believe that a viable answer is possible based on your post.

What are your requirements? The pcpartpicker list is not really complete.

"Do over" suggestion: what are your requirements? Aka what do you want?

What is your budget?

This Forum has a number of computer build suggestions based on budget.

For example:

https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-pc-builds,4390.html

Details matter and there is no harm in being specific. Hopefully what you want will be within your budget.

If not, then trade-offs and options can be considered.

According to this chart they have very similar VRMs:

So i'd imagine that the price difference would be due to the Asrock X570 Taichi being a higher quality board with better features/components.
But to determine what is different you would need to compare the features (and reviews) of both boards.

For that you don't need a fancy mobo, motherboards do not affect performance that much, they do offer features and some more stability when in higher energy loads like when you overclock.
But for that CPU any mobo will do, just get a good X570 that is not over priced and you would do great. Focus on spending more on a CPU and GPU.

If you change it over to canadian dollars I am not saving enough money for it to be worth it. Do you have anything a bit more budget and good?

If you want to game and stream, I'd get the 3900x with 12 cores because you definitely want to CPU encode your stream, it looks much much better. With more cores, you can push the OBS settings to SLOW(higher image quality) encoding. You'll get the cleanest stream in the lowest bitrate possible. If you're not partnered on twitch, they only allow you to stream at 6mbps. CPU encoding will look the cleanest without all the macroblocking you get from GPU encoding. The best GPU encoding are on the new nvidia Turing cards, but their image quality only compares to somewhere between FAST and MEDIUM preset of CPU encoding. This is why most mega streamers use a separate PC for streaming, but with Ryzen going up to 12 cores, you don't need a separate PC.

I mean I am not made of money and its sold out so I will just get 3700X also It is not going to be professional streaming like I have 40 total views and I will mostly be playing E sports games when streaming so it wont make a difference

So back to the main subject what is a really good x570 budget board?
I personally like the Asus ROG Strix X570-F and X570-E.
