Hi I bought my son a new windows 8 Samsung laptop for christmas and it cannot find our home wireless network or any other network and sometimes doesnt even recognise a wired connection. The error popping up is driver power state failure. Is this a hardware or software problem ? or should i just take it back to pc world ? I have done a system restore and have been on Samsung sw updates to update the drivers. This worked for a day and now am still having the same problem. Please help Regards Dave.

Thas says to me that the driver is having a hard time recognising the power state, or has a problem detecting that the state has changed from a sleep or hibernate state.

you can download the latest drivers for the laptop here http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads

download the network drivers for the operating system you have
if you are not sure of the os click start > type system information then press enter

or

click start > right click on coputer > select manage > click device manager > expand network adapters > right click on each one > update driver software > follow prompts
